(Credits to Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia and VantageSP (DN Admin) for helping me translate.)

I'll admit, this is probably one of the few Rulings, I'm going to need Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia full assistance for me to finish it. However I'll provide some examples of my understandings for you to understand as well.

Part I: Before/Starting the Battle Phase

• Before you can begin the Battle Phase, you must first declare it to your opponent that you are and ask if he/she has any responses.

    - At this point, the opponent can play any Spell Speed 2 cards he/she is allowed to play.
    - If he/she does respond, the turn player is allowed come back into Main Phase 1 and change his/her tactics before advancing. (Repeat this step until your opponent has no more responses to entering the Battle Phase)

• Once all responses are taken care of, the turn player may enter the Battle Phase and can decide whether to declare an attack with any or all monsters present on his field or advance to Main Phase 2.

Part II: Battle Phase

•At this point, the turn player is allowed to declare an attack with any or all monsters in attack mode on his/her side of the field, unless a card effect allows defense position monsters to attack [ex. Total Defense Shogun]

    - Every monster is granted 1 free attack declaration.
    - If a monster on the turn player's side of the field entered the Battle Phase in defense position, then changed to attack position by a card effect, it can declare an attack if it did not already.
    - If a card effect that limits attack on the field [ex. Messenger of Peace] was later removed during the Battle Phase, monsters that did not declare an attack may do so.
    - One attack can be declared at a time.

•Cards and effects that are Spell Speed 1 cannot activate during the Battle Phase, unless stated in the text or it is a Trigger Effect.
•Monsters cannot be summoned during the Battle Phase, unless stated in the text or summoned by another card effect.
•Monsters cannot change Battle Positions manually during the Battle Phase.

Part III: Attack Declaration

• To start an Attack Declaration, select 1 monster on your side of the field that is capable of attacking.

    - Check for all cards and effects that may stop a monster from declaring an attack. [ex. Gravity Bind, Swords of Revealing Light, Messenger of Peace, etc.

• Next select 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field as an attack target.

    - You may attack directly if there are no monsters on your opponent's side of the Field or conditions on the field/monster allows you to do so.
    - Check for all cards and effects that may put that monster in a position of not being a potential attack target. [ex. Command Knight, Victoria, Pixie Ring, etc.]

• At this point, the turn player has priority to play any cards/effects that are Spell Speed 2 that he/she is allowed to. Trigger Effects can be activated if their text says "When this card declares an attack" [ex. Gravekeeper's Assailant, Dark Diviner, etc.]
• Monsters with the Continuous Effect "If this card attacks/battles..." occur at this point (not activate).
• If you pass priority or have no cards that can activate during attack declaration, your opponent may activate cards that are Spell Speed 2 and/or attack response cards/effects. [ex. Mirror Force, Battle Fader, Number 39: Utopia, etc.]

Part IV: Before Damage Step

• This phase exists solely for Spell Speed 2 cards and effects that did not activate during "Attack Declaration" phase.
• Cards that respond to attacks such as Magic Cylinder and Swift Scarecrow, cannot activate at this point.
• This is the last chance for a Replay, before moving on to the Damage Step.

Part V: Damage Step
This description is the Damage Step in general. The Sub-Steps below will break down the timing.

• This is the only phase where a player can inflict Battle Damage and destroy a monster by battle.
• Set monsters, that are selected as an Attack Target, flip to face-up Defense Position during the Damage Step.
• If monster destroyed/removed Before Damage Calculations, the turn player will return back to the "Attack Declaration" stage.
• Counter Traps and Spell Speed 2 cards/effects that alter ATK/DEF [ex. Shrink, Forbidden Chalice, Castle Walls]
• Trigger [ex. Ally of Justice Catastor] and Trigger-Like Effects [ex. Different Dimension Deepsea Trench] can occur during this phase, unless it indicates otherwise [ex. Wind-Up Factory]
• Quick Effects can activate during this phase if and only if it negates the activation of a card and/or effect [ex. Stardust Dragon] or alter ATK/DEF [ex. Blackwing - Kalut the Moon Shadow]
• Normal Trap cards can activate during the Damage Step if and only if its timing requires life points to be dealt or a card(s) is destroyed [ex. Numerous Healer, Michizure, etc.], unless it stated otherwise.

    - Null and Void can be activated during the Damage Step.

Part V, Sub-Step 1: Start of the Damage Step

• Monsters with Continuous Effects occur first at this point of the Damage Step [ex. Steamroid, Etoile Cyber, Cystal Beast Topaz Tiger, etc.]
• Monsters with Trigger Effects activate during this step.

    - Monsters will most likely have the the text, "At the start of the Damage Step" to indicate it [ex. Six Samurai - Irou]
    - The effect will not activate if their target/timing is invalid [ex. Nanobreaker attacks a facedown Level 3 or lower monster] and will not activate again.

• Cards/Effects that alter ATK/DEF can be activated at this point, unless it's stated otherwise.

Part V, Sub-Step 2: Flipping a Monster Face-up

• A set monster that was targeted for an attack, is flipped into face-up Defense Position during this Step.

    - Trigger and Flip Effects do not activate at this point of the Phase, unless it's stated otherwise.
    - If a monster, with a Continuous Effect [ex. Jinzo, Hoshiningen, The Fabled Unicore, etc.] is flipped into face-up Defense Position, it's effect will take place immediately.

*If a monster, with a Continuous Effect that will cause it to destroy itself under certain conditions [ex. Giant Kozaky, Thunder Nyan Nyan, Malefic Stardust Dragon, etc.], is flipped into face-up defense position, it will not activate during this Step.

    - If a monster, with a Continuous Effect that will cause certain monster to be unable to be targeted for an attack [ex. Command Knight, Blackwing - Gust of Backblast, Batteryman D, etc.], is flipped up into face-up Defense Position, the attack target will still be attacked, but if it is able to stay face-up until the End of the Damage Step, its effect will be applied to all battles.

• Cards/Effects that alter ATK/DEF can be activated at this point, unless it's stated otherwise.

Part V: Sub-Step 3: Before Damage Calculations

• Monsters with the text "Before damage calculation" when attacking [ex. Ehren, Lightsworn Monk, Drillroid, Sasuke Samurai #4, etc.], activate at this point of the Phase.
• Monster with the text Monsters with the text "Before damage calculation" [Blast Sphere, Ancient Lamp, Kiseitai, etc.] that are flipped up, activate at this point of the Phase.
• Monster with the text Monsters with the text "Before damage calculation" that inflict Effect Damage when attacked [ex. Yubel, Reflect Bounder, etc.], activate at this point of the Phase.
• Cards with the text "without applying damage calculations" means that Sub-Step 4 will be skipped and the Battle Phase will return to "Attack Declaration" Phase.

    - If a monster, who's effect activate during Sub-step 3 does not have "Before damage calculation" in its text, this text will also indicate it as well.

• Multiple individual Chains can be activated during this Step. [Ex. If Forbidden Lance was activated at this Step, but was negated by Solemn Judgement, a new chain can be started before moving on to Damage Calculations.
• Cards/Effects that alter ATK/DEF can be activated at this point, unless it's stated otherwise.

Part V, Sub-Step 4: During Damage Calculations

• There can only be one Chain conducted during this step.

• Cards with the text, "during damage calculations", activate during this Phase.

    - Quick effects that negate another card and Counter Traps can be activates
    - Cards/Effects that alter ATK/DEF CANNOT be activated at this point, unless it has "during damage calculations" in its text.

• Cards effects like Kuriboh and Nutrient Z activate at this point of the duel.
• Any Continuous Effects that occur specifically during the damage calculations will activate before damage calculations but some can either apply or disappear, depending on the situation of the chain link (if any).

*Player A has Elemental HERO Blade Edge ad Skyscraper on the field, and Player B has Injection Fairy Lily on the Field.
If Player A declares an attack on Injection Fairy Lily with Elemental HERO Blade Edge, Player B can activate Injection Fairy Lily's effect paying 2000 LP and increasing its ATK by 3000. At this point Injection Fairy Lily's ATK will be greater than Elemental HERO Blade Edge's ATK and Skyscraper will apply and increase Elemental HERO Blade Edge's ATK by 1000 ATK.

• If a monster was destroyed by an effect during damage calculations, all remaining effects in the chain finish resolving, the monster will be deemed as destroyed by an effect and no battle damage will be dealt to either side, and the Damage Step will continue as normal.

Part V, Sub-Step 5: Battle Damage - After Damage Calculations.

• Battle Damage occurs at this point of the phase.
• If a flipped monster with a "Self-Destruct" ability was not destroyed by battle during this step, then it is destroyed if its conditions are not met. [ex. Thunder Nyan Nyan]
• Monsters with Continuous Effects that take place while face-up [ex. Jinzo] are no longer applied if they are destroyed by battle. Monsters with Continuous Effects that take place when they are removed from the field [ex. Crystal Beasts and Battle Fader] are an exception.
• Effects that activate when Battle Damage is inflicted occurs at this point of the step. [ex. Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer, Numinous Healer, etc.]

    - If Flashbang is activated immediately after damage calculations, then no other effects will occur.

• Red Dragon Archfiend's effect occur at this point of the phase.

    - "Red Dragon Archfiend vs Monsters with negating effects": If a monster in defense position is attacked by Red Dragon Archfiend and is destroyed, (even though it is still face up) it cannot activate it's effects because it is considered destroyed. The monster cannot be destroyed by battle if it wants to negate the first effect of Red Dragon Archfiend.

Part V, Sub-Step 6:Resolving Effects.

• Monsters with effects that activate after the damage step when they are attacked, activate at this point of the step. [ex. D.D. Warrior Lady]
• Trigger Effects that occur when a monster is flipped face up activate during this step. [ex. Penguin Soldier]

    - If the effect targets a card(s) on the field, the monster that has the effect cannot target itself if it was destroyed by battle (this applies for other possible targets as well).

Part V, Sub-Step 7: End of Damage Step - Destroyed by Battle

• Monsters that were destroyed by battle are sent to the Graveyard, or Banished depending on the effects on the field/monster.
• Effects that activate when a card is destroyed by battle (whether it is itself or another card) activate at this point of the step. [ex. Jurrac Guaiba, Masked Dragon, etc.](More will be Explained Later).
• Effects that activate at the end of the Damage Step take place during this step.
• Replacement Effects (Continuous) occur during this step.
• "B.E.S" Monster Counters are added/removed at this point of the duel.
• Some cards are given the privilege by Konami to activate during the Damage Step such as Michizure and Chthonian Blast.
• You may now return to the Part II: The Battle Phase and start another attack declaration with a monster that hasn't attacked yet.

Part VI: End of Battle Phase

• Effects that activate when the Battle Phase has ended take place here. (Gladiator Beasts, Tiras Keeper of Genesis, etc.)
• You may now enter Main Phase 2 or End Phase

If there is still some clarification needed please do not hesitate to leave a comment or send me a PM.
